I found this growing in my front garden late last night, it's not something that I've planted, i dug up 3, the root system on these fellas are pretty intense. It's just solid mass and digging it out i thought i was digging into the rotten underground stump near by.

Could someone please ID for me, the leaves or plant is slightly shinny and smooth.
