Name That Plant!

Common "weeds"

I am trying to decide what to weed out...and these are all over the place...ignore plant to left w/"glossy" leaves that's a seedling Magnolia virginiana....but what is the plant to the right and are the other very small plants in the pic the same as the first?

Resembles Chrysanthemum maximum, Shasta Daisy. Do you have any in the garden which could have self sown? But there is not much to go on and it could well be something else.

No, I haven't sown any Shasta daisies...but was thinking something daisy-ish...is that a safe assumption? If so it can stay!

I didn't mean you had sown Shastas. I thought there might already be some which had self sown.

I just pulled out some Solidago canadensis and it looked a lot like that when it was only that high.
