| I would appreciate if anybody knows about this Jacaranda species,the leaves are not fern-like and I have never seen seeds from its pods.Also if there are any tips for propagation. Looking forward to solving my questions |

| Hi Geo, It's a Paulownia tomentosa, also known as the Empress Tree. Beautiful and fast grower but it's hard to get the seeds... usually fre fruits are out of reach unless you get a heavily pruned tree and all of them fly as soon as fruit opens... they are very small to gather on the ground. I found a tip that say surface sowing because they require light to sprout. The method worked like a charm. Regards. Paul. |
