A little help in id'ing a plant

Can someone please tell me what is this very very small plant?It looks like grass but its tiny (the size of a coin) and it grows rrreeaaaallllyyyy slow and as you can see in the pic it has thin wiry leaves.Any help is appreciated!

The little one is an immature plant. Immature plants are difficult to ID since their foliage is not always typical of the mature plant. Best ID's would come when the plant has gotten bigger and has become more distinctive.

If I had to take a stab at a guess now and that is all it would be at this point, I would guess an allium. But, it could be so many other plants too. I'd say wait and see what it turns into.

Could be a runt version of the others around it.

An allium?It is rather small to be an allium...and no its not the runt version of the others coz they are amarrylis seedlings! :-D
perhaps i should let it grow to get a definite answer...

When I saw it I thought allium too. Though being a seedling I could be wrong. Alliums when sprouting from seed, not a bulb, are very tiny with fine foliage as seem in your pic.

If it is an Allium, when you bruise a leaf there should be an onion scent.

lol carol if i put my hand into a leaf i will destroy the whole plant!it is that small!But where did the seed come from?
i dont have a vegetable garden! :-/

It doesn't have to be an edible onion. There are a lot of ornamental onions. I grow a few like Purple Sensation and Globemaster. They are very pretty. It is possible seed blew in from somewhere else or hitched a ride with a critter.
