I am def no expert, but that looks like my baby coneflowers to me. I hope it is, they are lovely and hardy.

Could be a hosta seedling, particularly if the leaf has a pointed end.

all hosta self seed ... its just a question of vermin and how well you clean up.. prior to seed being strewn .... most peeps dont wait long enough.. before they go beheading their plants for fall ... in fact... if you want lots.. leave the seed pods hanging there all winter ... and many more will self sow ...

there is a very active hosta forum .. and i am their wizard ... if you wish to be enabled with state of the art hosta.. come join us ...

i am 99.9% certain ... but i cant see the center.. but i would NOT suggest you waste your time posting another pic ...
