If the scale is what I imagine it looks like Mind Your Own Business, Soleirolia soleirolii.

actually, upon closer investigation, I don't think its either suggestion yet, i'll get another picture for scale too.

Soleirolia soleirolii seems to have some height to it, this just crawls across the ground ... and is all in clumps, not 'viney', can't see any vines, just clumps while crawling flat.

but the Lysimachia nummularia is close, but seems not quite right

How about Mentha requienii, Corsican mint? Do the leaves have a strong minty scent?

Soleirolia soleirolii, known here as baby's tears, is very flat although it can build up some height if very happy, forming little hummocks. And no vines.....it roots as it spreads.

Looks to me like either the baby's tears or Corsican mint - they look and grow very much alike. Definitely not the Lysimachia.

Don't let any of it out of the pot unless you are happy to have it everywhere in cool damp places. The least smidgeon will root.

I have it in my garden along a north facing wall. It spreads within the shadow of the wall, no further. Mine is somewhat confined to the cracks between paving stones also, but has not become a problem in over 10 years. No idea where it first came from, probably a hitch hiking sprig of it arrived with a plant from a garden centre.
