Hawaiian Baby Woodrose (Argyreia nervosa)

A friend gave me this plant and told me it was a baby woodrose but I know it isn't, (I have one growing along my fence). I really have no idea what it is, although he said he started it from a woodrose seed. Can someone tell me what this is...? Oh... I have some baby woodrose cuttings if anyone is interested! I'd like to get another baby woodrose plant too so they can seed, as I'm pretty sure two are needed for seeding.
Thanks,
R.J.

It looks like Thespesia populnea, if it's a shrub. If it's a climber, it looks like Ipomoea pes-caprae or Ipomoea carnea.

Thanks, I think it is a Thespesia populnea.
