The stems and buds are extremely reminiscent of Hedera and Fatsia so I wondered if it was in the Araliacea. It could almost be an ivy except for the leaf shape. I found Oreopanax capitatus, a plant I have never seen. What do you think?

Is this thing growing outdoors in Belgium, or in a pot?

Is it growing in Belgium? No in winter we put it in the greenhouse,
i work in Antwerp and a part of my work is in the Botanical garden or Plantentuin ( Link ) , so we have some exotic specimen and the name of this on got lost.
