Name That Plant!

Is this mulberry or something else?

This and some poke-weed were seeded by birds along a fence in north Texas. It's in vegetable garden space we let idle this year, so has grown to about 3 ft in this one season. All the mulberries left around here are 'fruitless'. So if a mulberry, it likely flew some distance with the poke-weed. TIA

It could be. Definitely looks to be a tree, so if you don't want a tree right there you will remove it anyway, whatever kind it is.

bboy: Thanks for the inputs. Yes, I'll remove when we prep the garden space over the winter. Mainly interested in understanding what the critters are helping spread around the neighborhood.
