Name That Plant!

Is this a Hibiscus bush/tree?

I have a bush growing near my front porch. It has yellow flowers when in bloom. I picked some dried pods off the plant with seeds that look like black olives. (see photo) Is this some sort of hibiscus bush? And are the black seeds, something I can plant?

It's a very difficult picture but compare with Yellow Tree Peony. Paeonia lutea. It self seeds in my climate. Not sure about yours.
