sempervivums

They are not really indoor plants, d0od. They are showing signs of too little light. They would be happier outside in a place with very good drainage, they'll grow in almost no soil.

Possibly Sempervivum tectorum in the front two pots.

The snaky one might be a sedum. And I can't see the one in back.

They would all appreciate being placed in a sunny window.

Where in the UK are you?

Thanks for the replies - sounds like moving them out into the garden would be the best solution for them - would the amount of rain not get hinder them?

What should I do with the flowering stem bits? They come away pretty easily.

Whether indoors or out, they need to be in soil which drains well. The more sun the better.

Sempervivums and sedums can handle your winters in the UK. Give them room to spread.

If the "flowering stem bits" are attached to the sempervivums, leave them attached. If they break off, plant them anyway (it can't hurt).

If they are not attached to the sempervivums (and are the leggy sedums I assumed them to be), plant them also.

D0od - they need VERY sharp drainage and if they have it they'll ignore the rain. Do some Googling for suitable locations - they need hardly any soil. They'll even grow on old rooves. AKA Houseleeks.
