Maybe Viburnum lantana or a hybrid, Viburnum x rhytidophylloides.
Fruit is from this year.

It's leatherleaf viburnum, V. rhytidophyllum. Typically the bloom period is in the spring but IME, evergreen or semi-evergreen viburnums can set flowers just about any time they like and fall is quite common for a few flowers, especially after a somewhat hot or dry summer.

Good point, is it evergreen?

For a V rhytidophyllum I think the foliage is not right.

Typically it is more narrow, not pointed, darker and kind of dropping on the plant, the leaves hang down.
