Hepatica ?

Hepatica has a three-lobed leaf. Any photos of the leaves?

Hepatica is a spring bloomer but sometimes plants forget what time of year it is...

To me it looks like an extremely stunted (maybe by the tonnage of leaves and wood chips) Chinese Aster, Callistephus chinensis. That's based on the flower and what I can see of the leaves. Starved plants do sometimes produce miniature runts.

It strikes me as an atypical aster presentation as well.

Here are some more pics with a dime in the picture for scale. I do have another one in a magenta that came up as well. The flower was smaller than the smallest blue one in the pictures below, a single, and it did have more of a spidery flower like some asters. It's going out now so I can't get a decent picture of that one.
It's just not all adding up for me. What are your thoughts with these extra photos? Thanks in advance!

The new photos haven't changed my opinion that it's a stunted Callistephus chinensis. If the yellowing on the leaves is real rather than a trick of the light that would support the idea that this plant is starving and consequently atypical. You get the same effect when hungry seedlings try to flower when they are still tiny.

The yellow leaves are not a trick of the light, and I'm sure these plants are very well starved where they came up. It's in a terrible area of the garden where the soil is not that great. Thanks for the info. Wish I knew how it got there!
