Perhaps a Tradescantia as in T. fluminensis. Have you noticed any flowers?

I've only lived here since April, so maybe I just haven't been here long enough to see any blooms. I'll look up your suggestions though and see if we have a match! Thanks! I'll let ya know!

Although it could possibly belong to that family somewhere, its leaves are more narrow and triangular than those, which seem more teardrop shaped.

i had a version of Tradescantia come with the house when i bought it ..

gorgeous deep blue.. tiny.. flowers ..

and totally invasive [using the term loosely] .. and for 10 years i have been killing it.. and i still get seedlings ...

take the time to get a full ID.. and then make sure you want it ...

regardless of whether something looks cool.. you might not want all of them ...

My guess is Commelina.

I saw some photos that do look like a possible match, but mine hasn't flowered at all - so I'm not sure

I believe it's a Callisia.
