Hi, It might be Verbascum thapsus or mullein. Its just a guess with the pic you posted. If it is that its just sorta a useless weed. I have that everywhere in my garden, extremely invasive. I have heard of people using leaves from plants that were 2 year old as oil rags. I have so much unwanted mullein growing I'm considering using the plants as a sort of "green rag"for spills. If anybody has found any real uses for mullein please post it :)
