wenatchee apples

Does anyone have information on WINATCHEE or WINOTCHEE apples? I have a few trees grafted a couple of years ago with scion wood from a seed exchange, labeled with one or the other of these spellings, claimed to be a new early variety. I can not find any information under these names. My trees are not ready to bear fruit yet, so I can not describe it.
Thanks, Ramon

Wenatchee is the correct geographical spelling, if they are named for the region.

I would repost this question on the Fruit and Orchards Forum if I were you. We're here to id stuff and the fruit people don't visit much.
