| Have you researched care for this plant? Browning at the base of the fronds generally indicates watering issues - either too much or not enough. Keep the soil evenly moist - do not allow to dry out but do not saturate. Bright indirect light or filtered shade. If grown as a houseplant, you will want to fertilize periodically from late March/early April through the end of September. Once every 3-4 weeks is fine and with a regular liquid houseplant fertilizer, available at any nursery/garden center. |
