i would like to know why mine turns brown at bottom how much doyou water lighting thats dood and do you fertilize and what kind and how often

Have you researched care for this plant? Browning at the base of the fronds generally indicates watering issues - either too much or not enough. Keep the soil evenly moist - do not allow to dry out but do not saturate. Bright indirect light or filtered shade. If grown as a houseplant, you will want to fertilize periodically from late March/early April through the end of September. Once every 3-4 weeks is fine and with a regular liquid houseplant fertilizer, available at any nursery/garden center.
