Probably crabapple.

More pics would be helpful. I would say Choke Cherry. The bark looks fairly smooth. There will be a pit if it is.

It's a crabapple. Chokecherry fruit is held on the branch differently - produced on racemes rather than clusters - and doesn't produce that little pointy, blossom end like crabs do.

As gardengals says, it certainly looks like a crabapple. They are related to roses, and produce their flowers much like a rose does, often in clumps of five or so. Crabs are highly planted ornamentals for urban green spaces, increasing the likelihood of it being a crab.
