Name That Plant!

Thorny Plant that I cant ID

This plant is red now in the fall but appears to have green leaves in summer and sprint. It has both Briars and Thorns and the leaves are toothed with deep veins. Its almost vine like but grew up right in patches. I really need this ID for a project...

I'm not sure what you mean. A briar is a plant. Briar can also refer generally to a prickly part of a plant. But briar isn't a specific type of prickle.
