Seagrape?

In the fall of 2013, I took a trip to one of my local beaches and when I left, I snagged a seed pod from a Seagrape bush. I brought it home, opened it and sowed the three seeds in pots, after soaking for 24 hours. But when summer of 2014 hit and I still saw no sign of germination, I dumped the pots into my compost bin (too small for Hot Composting). Now, as fall of 2014 is coming to a close, I find this plant 'volunteered' in my wildflower bed. Could this possibly be one of the seeds I dumped into my compost bin? To my eyes it looks like it might be a young Seagrape, but maybe I'm only seeing what I want to see?
