Name That Plant!

Woody Plant Identification Needed

This plant is taking over my flower bed and now creeping into my yard. It is hard to pull up and my trimmer can not cut it properly. Does anyone have any idea what this plant is? It seems to have a tiny yellow pod attached at the base of each leaf at the end of a long stem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Can you give us more to go on?

Does it have a fragrance -- like mint or spearmint?

Are you saying it's a ground cover? How tall does it get?

It grows about 2ft tall in clumps on woody stems and it does not have a fragrance. To remove it I have to either dig it up or use clippers. It stays green all winter and spreads like crazy each year.
