| I could use some help in identifying this plant. I've attached a couple of photos--one from early summer, one from today and a photo of a flower blossom. This is what I know about this plant:
*It is hardy to Z8
*Bears a few marble shaped 'fruits' that start off green and mature to orange-red
*'Fruits' have pepper looking seeds
*Is at at least 20 years old, perhaps more and has been growing in it's current planter for most of that time.
*Has been grown in full shade and spent most of the summer in a part shade area.
I've searched the internet but don't have an idea of where to look next. I first thought that it might be in the pepper family based on its general appearance and the seeds but nothing in that family seems to fit with this plant.
Does anyone have any idea what this plant might be? Thanks!
