The berries from the first was tentatively id's as Euonymus atropurpureus. The second was just discovered today in a thicket. They are about the size of Sumac with smooth bark, full of berry clusters.

Euonymus atropurpureus? Hot pink pods. Note the single large seed, about like a bean seed.

Red seed pods. Note the two whitish seeds from a pod.

2. looks like Celastrus, probably Oriental Bittersweet.

Ok, it looks like the first one is Wahoo. The 2nd one I so want to be a native Bittersweet, not the oriental substitute.
I took some more photos today. They are vining around some Sumac.

Location of fruit and color of seed covering are two traits that differ.

I think you might be in luck. Looks like the berries are in clusters at the ends of the branches, rather than in the leaf axils all the way along the stem like C. orbiculatus. I'd say it's C. scandens.

Thank you for the news. I was of the same opinion after reading of the differences. The seed covering on mine is orange too, as opposed to it being yellow on the invasive.
Looks like I can save the seeds.
