Guanajauto Mexico Shrub

Posted by chezron 10b (My Page) on

Saw this large shrub along the roadside in Guanajauto Mexico. The petals are fused. The flowers are white and hibiscus-like with a purplish throat. The buds and calyx are very hairy with white hairs. The leaves are linear and resemble peach tree leaves. They are dull green and longer than wide. They are in bunches at the end of branches. The plant is sparsely foliaged and rangy.
