very poisonous .... especially in regard to the attractive shiny purple berries which children MIGHT stick in their mouths ...

not to mention birds spreading them everywhere ...

most stuff is not good if you eat too much of it ... in this case its the pretty berries a child might be attracted to and eat ...

its a horrible weed.. sums it up nicely ...

I agree it does look like Solanum dulcamara, but the berries change from green to orange and then red, not purple. The foliage has a distinctive unpleasant smell that once you are familiar with it can be used to ID seedlings. It's similar to the smell of tomato foliage.

Ditto S. dulcamara has red, not purple fruit.

i got lazy .. lol..

regardless of color.. are they just as pretty an attractant.. and just as poisonous.. lol.. being lazy again ...
