It looks like a scented Geranium.

i was thinking geranium also ...

and if so.. google propagation of such ... once confirmed by the wizards .. it shouldnt be all that hard ...

it may have never bloomed indors for lack of light .. as it is a full sun plant in most cases ... but as a houseplant.. not so much so .....

Depending which kind of geranium and where you are in California, they may be able to overwinter outdoors.

I finally got a hold of the person that passed it down to me. She told me that she didn't know what it was but it did flower. So, I believe you all are correct and Ken, my next geranium will be kept outdoors so that I can enjoy those blossoms! Again thanks y'all you've been a great help. I liked this plant because of the leaves I can't wait to see the flowers!
