Here is another tree I'm trying to identify. I thought this one was a crape myrtle originally because I had tossed a bunch of CM seeds into a planter. When I look at the CM tree I took the seeds from it looks nothing like this little tree. The leaves are completely different. Now I'm left wondering! Any ideas? You can call this Tree Number 2 so we don't get confused! ;o)

Hmmm Mulberry! I haven't thought of that! I'll look around to see if I some of those trees around here for comparison. Probably came from a bird though! LOL I am hoping to transplant this little tree. It's right under another tree. Can't be good for either tree. Any idea on the best approach for that? I envision the roots completely entangled with the big trees roots.

Here is a close up of the leaves for tree 2. I'm reading about the Arizona Ash and that's not a very good tree for a yard.

if you want to grow trees.. in pots... there are much better potting mediums.. than what looks like high peat ...

trees need a sip of water.. and near total drainage.. and near drying.. before the next drink ...

too much peat.. can lead to root rots ... not many prefer a swampy pot of water ... as annuals/perennials might prefer ...

come over to the tree forum.. if you want info in that regard ...
