Is this a peony?

Hi, three weeks ago i purchased peony seeds online. I planted them directly after receiving the seeds, and just 7 days later they began to sprout. But I m not sure if those plants are really peonies because:
1. The seeds are different from what i see in the internet. they are grayish black with wrinkled skin. In the internet they look bigger, black or white with shiny skin.
2. They grow so easily... In what i read, peony needs much more time to grow.
This is my first time growing peonies. Please help.. Here are some picture from the sprouts (3 weeks old sprouts)

Definetly not Peony.

Borage would certainly fit the appearance.

to reduce unknown seedlings... you can sterilize your potting media prior to use.. to kill any chance seed in said media ...

the link tells how to do it in an oven/microwave .... you can probably also do it in a black plastic bag in hot sun ... if you can hit the seed killing temps ...

about what???

if you bet it all on seed germinating .... as soon as they touch the media ...... to perfection ... you should be disappointed ...

but i have had seed.. who knows where i got it.. that germinated a year or two later .. lol ...

and that is one reason ... to sterilize your media... so all these weeds.. dont crush your dreams ....

whats really bringing you down ... that your seed isnt germinating fast enough.. or that weeds germinate in seconds ... but dont end up being what you wanted ... i suspect the roller coaster ride of seeing something .. but it ending up.. not being what you want .. up and down.. round and round ...

BTW .. peony has a three lobed leaf ... well... the P i am familiar with .. compare at link ...

the worst thing you can do.. in the garden.. is have high hopes for instant gratification ...

In looking at the seedlings, I would say borage too. Borage seeds always remind me of pineapple grenades. From your seed description, I'm guessing borage is a match there too. FYI - I believe peony seed needs stratification to sprout. I think it is a cold-warm-cold stratification if I recall correctly.

BTW, Borage is a nice plant to attract pollinators. The flowers are pretty in a punch or salad bowl. It is a self-seeding annual herb. But if you paid for peony seed, I would contact the seller.
