| This appeared at the end of the summer in the lemon grass I plant for the cat and bring in for him to have a snack over the winter. Flowers at most nodes. Not attractive, but I am curious as to what it is. |

| Thanks. That is, indeed, the plant. Next year I will have to make sure no seeds blew off the deck and into the yard. Don't want another Asiatic weed in NC!! |

| Probably difficult to prevent its spread. That invasive recently showed up here, and is already found in fairly large colonies at all kinds of sites, in both sun and fairly heavy shade. |

| Well, I will try. I still try to get rid of Japanese stilt grass, but it comes back every year, although less and less. Privet and honeysuckle are just too robust and seem to survive, no matter what. But again, thanks everyone for the ID information. |
