Unknown Plant

Have a couple of these in my backyard in Southern California, not sure what they are.... Any idea?

i tend to agree .... perhaps.. lol ...

and i hate them with the passion of a million burning suns ... due to scale and other problems ...

they are simply not worth the cost of fixing.. whatever is all over it .. are you really willing to spend 10 bucks to try to save a 5 dollar.. common.. overplanted plant????

you can do so much better .. suggestions might be sought int he shrub forum ....

It looks almost like a lichen on the leaves.

Thanks! Yea, I think they are coming out this weekend.

Those plants are mildewed. Some Euonymus are very susceptible.

You see the mildew mostly on E. japonicus cultivars.
