Name That Plant!

Sunflower Question

I have grown Evening Sun and Autumn Beauty Sunflowers. They look the same to me.
They each have rings of orange and yellow. I believe Evening Sun also grows some that have the red rings, but the seeds in the pack also grew some that were orange. Anybody know anything about this?

this would seem to be more of an annuals forum question ... zenman would probably nail this ...

genetic variability happens.. within a seed pack ...

even more so, if you are growing your own harvested second generation ...

it would not surprise me.. that two different companies... might have look alike seed ... under two different names ...

Thank you and you're right...should have put it under the other forum. All I could think of besides "Sunflowers" which was too specific was this thread. Thank you.
