| I bought this flower when I visited Croatia this year, and it became wonderful, but I don't know the name of it. Will be grateful, if anyone could identify it. Thank you. |

| Positively! It's in the gesneriad family, a subgenus of streptocarpus, and a native of southern Africa. I think this is a species, rather than a hybrid, but my books on gesneriads are at work, so I'll try to figure out the details later. The spots on the leaves are probably caused by water staying on the leaves when it receives sunlight. |
