Name That Plant!

I think this was supposed to be a house plant. It was purchased at a Home Depot here in Fort Myers Florida about 6 years ago. It has grown outside very slowly but it is a very nice plant. I have other pictures if that would be helpful. I would like to know what kind of plant it is.

Welcome to Gardenweb. That's one awesome, incredible looking tree! A prime example of its' kind. Is it still in a pot? Do you ever have to protect it from frost where you are?

Never had to protect it so far.
It is doing pretty good just where it is and I don't want to change locations. Sometimes plants will sort of tell you where they like it and this one has by the way it is doing. It was only about 12 inches tall when purchased and was in a tiny pot.
I have another picture of a tree or shrub that was planted in our back yard by the developer that I am not sure of. I will post it.
