I picked this up a sale a few years ago. Sadly, my dog was playing and broke in in two places. I'm trying to rejuvenate it but not sure which part i can re pot. It looks like a tree with cactus leaves

Here's another pic: it has several feet of bark or stalk before it begins to bloom into leaves

cut off the broken trunk.. and see if that part re-buds ...from the roots ...

google the latin name above.. and add 'propagation' ... and find out if green parts will root ... and also if the smaller brown parts will ... i doubt it will be worthwhile to try on the large broken trunk ...

a lot of houseplants.. root extremely easily ... i am just too lazy to look it up for you today ...

if you read close enough..in your research.. you may be able to cut 4 to 6 inch pieces... etc ..

i am positive.. you will not root the huge larger pieces ... the key will be in managing smaller.. easily handled units ...
