See if Juniperus ashei (Mountain Cedar) fits. That Texas native is known for having several trunks, lacking a single, main axis.

but regardless of such ... the prior owner or three ... didnt understand that the tiny 2 dollar plant.. was going to grow into this monster... and that is why they planted it .. what looks like one foot from the foundation ...
