Vietnamese Herb Nice Spicy Taste

I purchased a bag of this at the Vietnamese market a few days ago. This evening I chopped some and added it to an Indian curry. This herb has a wonderful spicy taste raw and cooked. Perhaps I can grow it as an annual? Thanks for your help in advance.
