Anyone recognise this variety of cactus? I hope to learn what climate zone it might fall into so I know when I have to bring it into the house for the winter... It is in an approx 6" pot and stands 6-8" tall Joyce

Echinopsis of some sort is my guess. Not hardy much below 32F, and then only if kept very dry. And it looks very dry. (Acute ribs.)

Thank you, I was just given two of these lovely cactus which were kept outdoors and normally moved inside for the winter. I have an unheated sunroom where I had hoped I could house them but it will definitely get below 32f. Joyce
