Hello,

I will be submitting a few pictures of plants from my backyard, and you will probably have a laugh because they probably are pretty common plants.

My problem is I can only recognize roses, if even. But I want to learn, and I figured this is a great place to start.

So this purplish plant, is in patches in my backyard. There are a bunch in the corner there, then there is another bunch on another side...

I think they are pretty sturdy, because the weed wacker didn't do any damage to them (but I was also worried about killing them because I didn't know what they were).

What are they?
