Maybe this was meant for the discussion area? Anyway, what's weird, the color that bloomed out?

Maxillaria rufescens? Yellowish with red markings sounds right. It comes in yellow-ish to reddish/brown-ish shades, all sort of muddy-looking... flowers aren't that spectacular but they smell nice, sort of cinnamon/vanilla.

youd be right on that but im least concerned with what it looked like and more or less wondering who was it that traded me this cool little chid
