Anyone miss me? Anyone...?

Yay!

I'm back online!

We kept power and TV, but lost my net connection.:~(

Jeeze!

With all the rain and the snow, I've been too busy to write anyway.

Fortunately, all my hard work over the summer paid off.

Drainage system works like a charm and I'm even catchin' my neighbors topsoil washoff.

Settling pools and swales work great! ;~)

No major flooding and I even have proof of water coming down my irrigation ditch.

It still needs a lot of work, but I now have photos of actual water gushing down it.

Let them try and claim that I'm not usin' it now! ;~)

Yes. I missed you and I created a thread about it and typed up a really really long post...and then I turned my back to kill a squirrel, and *poof* the text was gone, and I hadn't saved it. I was very irate.

But I decided to retype it. So I wrote and wrote and wrote some more! And I posted it. Then I went back to see if you saw it...and the GW mods had already deleted it after a bliss-ninny who did NOT miss you, complained. *sigh* I tried...

Yeah, I missed you and was hoping you weren't buried under a snow drift or whatever precipitation you had.

    A Bliss-ninny. Like it.

    Well...um...
It's the thought that counts, I guess!
    So...
    Did it really go "poof"?
I'm generally screamin' obscenities and have never noticed any other sounds!

    Did ya get the squirrel?
I hope that somethin' good came out of that.
It's goin' to take a lot of 'em to make a decent bedspread! ;~)

I really, really feel your pain!
I can just see you writin' away!

    "A Bliss-ninny. Like it."

    An inside joke.
    Sigh...
The scars were just startin' to fade, too!

The snow wasn't really a problem and it's better than rain.
Rain just makes for mud and it's more difficult to get around.
    I'd actually like more snow.
At least up in the mountains.
A good snow pack will help out this summer.

Love the edit on that picture, Scott. I got the unrated version yesterday and it cracked me up.

Glad your drainage system is working and I hope you don't have any damage!

I noticed your absence but was afraid it was because you were outside my house looking in the windows so I closed all the blinds and went to the attic and hid out for a while. So it's your fault I lost my job.

You might want to lay off the bong for a while!;~)
    I'm considering an intervention!

    But...
You really should consider trimin' some of those bushes!
    I think that I scratched myself! ;~)
