Last Sat. night a car stopped across the street , the next morning I had a new dog , poor little thing must of had the crap beat out of it , it looks like a small beagle a young dog , scared to death of everything , the first couple of days it was here if you reached to pet it would stiffen up all 4 legs and cringe .
It is better now and will come to me to be petted and wag . No tags or info. good thing, as I would not give it back to the monsters that had it . Gin

Yeah, our pup was apparently abused/hit by the man of the family who brought him to the pound- at only 9 mos old. He's recovered tremendously, although he is sometimes a little hand shy, especially towards men. But let me take him out on the leash and have a man come near us, or have a man come to the house if DH is not home, and this guy turns into super-protecto dog.
