Lord...I swear we have every type of coffee thingie known...from French press, to cone, to espresso maker, to ten cup....lately, when we only have to make one cup, we've been using the Philips Sanseo Pod maker...I like the froth at the top. ;)

A plastic cone and a mug does it for me, too. Used a French press for a while but cleanup was a drag.

The Turks have the best method! Grind any way you like, in a tall glass or cup put the amount of coffee you like, pour in hot water, let settle a bit and sip! Sure , at first you get a few grounds but not much, in a moment that stops as the grounds all settle. Best coffee, less cleanup! Hint; Water should be at 205 degrees. Bring to a boil then cut heat, wait till boiling stops. Great Coffee.

It appears I'm behind the times. We only have a coffee machine, no press, no cone. I don't even know what the cone is, or how to use it!

I don't drink decaf either, sorry.

Julysun, the first time I met my in-laws, they made black Turkish coffee in little espresso cups. I typically take my coffee with lots of cream and sugar but I wanted to make a good impression so I just suffered through it.

I didn't know the grinds were at the bottom. I just wanted it over with so the last bit, I took a big swig and got all the grinds in my mouth! UGH! Turned me off to that coffee forever. :P

I have a stainless steel coffee press ( brandname Nissan),makes a nice amount for one person. I think I got it from Sur de Table? I also can get decaf Cafe Bustello online but I think I had to buy it by the case. It's been so long I don't remember where I ordered it either...hmmm.gb
