It is our tradition: Peeps

Someone must continue the tradition even though this side is dead as a rock. Wouldn't be Easter without these guys.

Have a happy one.

They now come in blue and green. I saw some at the store, and I was thrilled. The dog is mystified and scared of the marshmallow creatures...

I knew Easter was coming, had even canceled a camping trip in favor of birding day trips this weekend so I could participate in sundry Easter activities. But somehow I'd forgotten the Peeps-until this week's "South Park". Peeps were integral. Need I say more? I think not.

Only yellow peeps are real peeps, and bunnies don't count for anything.

And why would you buy these on sale or not on sale? Just curious.

I haven't been here in a long, long time, but I felt strangely compelled to come visit and now I know why...Someone is LETTING Gin EAT PEEPS!!! Good lord! Call a medic....

Here is a recipe for less toxic peeps for everyone to file for next year.

    Happy belated easter,
    Mimi

No peeps left at the supermarket today ....sniff, sniff.

But they did have sugar-free chocolate bunnies for $1. Actually taste the same as the high-test chocolate bunny -- at least the three I ate did.
