I can review two of your movies:

Millions: Directed by one of my favorite directors Danny Boyle. In thinking back on some of his very nihilistic films like 28 days later and shallow grave, I was kind of nervous to see a film that looked like a children's film coming from the mind of this man. It was a really great film. I highly recommend it. Two kids find millions of british pounds and have to spend them quickly before they are replaced by the euro. It has fantasy, intrigue, danger and greed but like all good european films, nobody gets hurt. Awesome.

Gallipoli: I watch this film every couple of years or so. It is one of my favs. It is set in the war but it is really about two aussies who are competative runners. It is bitterweet and fills that need to watch a really good story with great characters and adventure. Also, it stars a young and very handsome Mel Gibson so there is something for both you and your hubby. There was another really great aussie war film that came out around the same time called Breaker Morant. You need to rent that one after Gallipoli.

Breaker Morant was good! Funny thing..I saw that at William and Mary in their theatre (cheap) back in the early 1980s....the next weekend I saw Road Warrior...and guess what I ran into on the LATE TV the other night...yep, good ol' Mel in his earlier incarnation....
