I have several varieties of orchids with a problem with what I am told is springtails on some of the plants mostly phaleanopsis. The bugs are mini - maybe 1/16 of an inch kinda white in color and some can fly. I changed all the media to orchid bark and cleaned the pots. I put diatinatious earth on the top of the pot and ran water thru. Didn't work so I put it on the tray the pot sits on. Didn't work. The bugs are only on the bottom outside of the pot and on the tray below. Help.
