Another house question

HereÂs a picture of a large permanent window in my dining room. ItÂs about 48 inches wide and maybe 68 inches tall. The outside double, wooden storm window needs to be replaced. IÂm sure itÂs probably as old as the house itself, which is going on 90 years. Looking around the neighborhood, most people have replaced the wooden storm windows with a large aluminum storm. I really donÂt like the look of those, plus they look permanent. You would have to take the whole thing off to clean the inside window. Now I have to take these wooden storms off to clean the inside, but since there are two of them it isnÂt that big of a deal.

Any suggestions since youÂre doing so well with my house painting questions.
