I hate every sitcom on TV with a passion - never, ever watch them. South Park is pure genius IMO, although I haven't watched it in a long time. I think it's one of those things I can take in kind of small doses since it does go to rather dark places quite often, but when I do watch it I'm usually rolling on the floor. When I was watching it every night, I started to feel sort of odd or just not right. I had to stop. Since I don't have cable, I only have access to the reruns. They try to bleep out the naughty words, but you can still tell what they're saying. So ridiculous.

I love anything that drips satire when you squeeze it. South Park kicks ass dude! It is kind of sad to me that the best source of media truth in our society is the Comedy Central network on tv.

I haven't watched it in ages. Not even sure of when it's on anymore. Can't really say why I stopped. You say it's still good? Hmmm...

Oh, it's so much more than 'still good'. I think once the boys saw what they could get away with, they just kept going, in part to see just how far they could go (which is apparently pretty far). Oprah Winfrey's vagina has conversations with her butt-hole (both with accents, at least one of them Scottish), and eventually wields a gun. Egad. I just cracked myself up over the thought of that one. God I love this show.

The syndicated reruns are still just repeatedly cycling through the early seasons. If you don't have cable, the later shows are available on DVD for rental or purchase. Don't deny yourselves the guilty pleasure of the most 'politically incorrect' show ever.

A group of friends and I started getting together every week to watch this from the time of the first season years ago (someone always records it so we're not time/date constrained). We still gather every Thursday night now whether there's new SP or not.
