Powdery Mildew on catnip indoors, HELP!

Posted by blackeyedgurl SE WI (My Page) on

Any thoughts on irradicating powdery mildew from my catnip plant? I brought it in from outside and it got fuzzy! I had the same prob last year, and genius me wiped it down with stright vinegar (never claimed to be a rocket scientist) and killed the plant.

I see we got a lot of cat people on here so I thought maybe someone else had dealt with this issue and might have some thoughts.

Only fixes that leave the plant safe for keeters to eat are needed! I don't keep Catnip around as an ornamental ;)

Thanks!
Adrianna

Once the conditions change for the fungus it will probably not be a problem. Spray it with soapy water, rinse, let dry - it should be safe for the cat.
