I oversee an older private collection.
(I have kept all the divisions and backbulbs from all my repotting for the last nine years – what was I thinking??)
All are Cattleyas repotted in the winter of 2003/04 in 6 inch pots (or larger)and will be shipped bare root.
1. Slc Tangerine Imp x Slc Kauai ‘Starbright’— 2" orange blooms Dec/Jan—have pictures
MY WANTED LIST:
Or any mature Miltoniopsis, especially pastels, and yellow; also Mtps. santanaei might be quite nice!
Or, any mature, blooming size Large flowered Cattleya especially White or Pink (other colors too)...(pale shades better) especially Spring or Summer bloomers...no splashes
Or, any short cane, large flowered Dendrobium (phal type) especially solid yellow (no colored lip), candy stripes, and splashes on white.
Or make me an offer!!
I miss coming here as much as I used to. Howdy to Sharon D, Ethan, Chris, CBarry, John in DC, Arthur, Wilbur, and all you other oldtimers. Have been promoted to head groundskeeper on the estate, and someone snookered me into Vice president at my local Orchid Society, CETOS, in Tyler.
Any help in trading (or otherwise) would be appreciated!!

New email addy
|Wow, Rex sent me this huge honking healthy C. labiata with six mature previously-bloomed bulbs and two new leads!! I almost feel that I cheated him, LOL!|
I read this post with mixed feelings. Would love to have some of these beauties, however, moving from Texas to Massachusetts would shock the heck out of them. Other orchids I've "imported" from far south have sulked for several years before taking off again.
Good luck cjw with that Catt, cuz I had quite a crush on her before I talked myself out of it!
Cheers and good growing
