Hello, there - I am in the process of moving my orchids outside, and I have a huge old Coelogyne cristata that I am repotting. It has so many growths in its old basket that it is sort of choking itself out, so I am starting a new basket with 15 or so growths, and that leaves about 35 that I either should give away or put in the trash. All are new growths on old bulbs, most with at least a few roots, although this plant puts out roots very slowly. It is a plant that resents disturbance, so it probably won't bloom for a year or 2, which is why I left it for much too long in its old basket. Anyway, if anyone in the TC vicinity is interested, send me a reply. I'm not going to ship or pot them, but if you want to pick one or all of them up, they are free. If you have something that you would like to offer in exchange, that's nice, but not necessary. I'm posting this on the Discussions forum as well - Tucker

Tucker,

If you will accept payment for shipping/packing and a token for your effort, I'd love for you to toss it in any old box, rather than the trash, and send it to me. Please tell me what it will cost :)
Carolyn

I don't know if you got my messages but I found some one who is moving to CA and would bring the plant. I'd love to have it.

Nick
